While most companies traditionally focus on a specific market, our past has been driven by the type of fabrication project. Con-Fab excels at difficult fabrication projects. These projects vary from commercial, water or sewer plants, industrial, marine and transportation. The uniqueness of these projects, usually including a combination of steel, aluminum and stainless steel fabrication, is suited for the highly experienced and adaptive employees of Con-Fab.

However, all good companies must adapt to current and future market conditions. We all see the changes technology is making and the steel fabrication industry is no different. Modem processing equipment allows us to offer higher volume at lower prices and with greater accuracy than ever before.

Technology is allowing Con-Fab to examine our operations and make investments that will have a profound impact on our operations. Con-Fab will continue to be a market leader at miscellaneous metal fabrication. Stairs, handrails, platforms and ladders, process modules; fabricated from steel, aluminum or stainless steel, will always be an important part of us.

However, the structural fabrication is taking a major advance forward. Last year, a Peddinghaus drilling and saw line was installed. This machine is capable of processing 40" wide flange beams. Early next year, we are installing a Peddinghuas angleline model AFCPS-623 and a Peddinghaus FPB-1800/3E plate processor. The plate processor is the very latest in plate fabrication and Con-Fab will be one of few fabricators to install it. The Peddinghaus FPB-1800/3E will plasma cut, punch holes, marks the piece and expels the item in seconds.

One special area that Con-Fab helps our clients is in assembly work. Clients recognize the value of modular units. From installing piping, equipment, electrical and mechanical assemblies, Con-Fab can perform all these services for your modular fabrication needs. Con-Fab has also meet the needs of clients on projects requiring pre-assembly to verify accurate fit up. Some projects, because of time restraints, cost and/or location, just cannot afford a mis-fit. In these situations, we have assembled structures at our facility, disassembled and match marked pieces and provided structures guaranteed to fit.

Production capacity is a difficult number to determine. One thousand tons of heavy columns are much different from one thousand tons of circular platforms and handrail. However, planning with our current equipment, we estimate that our production will meet or exceed 300 tons per week without overtime.

Con-Fab is poised to become one of the major structural and industrial fabricators in the United States. Therefore, we would like to earn your business. We are equally able to quote projects as lump sum or price per pound. We have a long list of repeat customers. In fact, frequently customers are so comfortable with our services, that they request we provide structures on a time and material basis.
